About the Role
The Data Analyst will help Cornerstone understand how our products are used and where we can improve, by turning operational and product data into clear, reliable reporting.
You'll work with Operations, Product, and Finance to track the metrics that matter and answer practical business questions with evidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain dashboards on adoption, activation, transactions, and retention.
- Clean, validate, and document datasets used for reporting.
- Prepare weekly and monthly metric summaries for Operations and Product.
- Investigate trends and anomalies and explain what they mean in plain language.
- Help define consistent metric definitions across teams.
- Support Finance with transaction and fee reporting where requested.
- Document queries, data sources, and reporting assumptions.
Requirements
- Good proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic SQL or Python (Pandas) for data analysis.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to present findings clearly with charts and short written summaries.
- Understanding of responsible data handling and privacy.
- Evidence of an academic, personal, or professional analysis project.
Preferred
Expected Contribution
Reliable dashboards, documented metric definitions, and regular reports that inform product and operational decisions.
Customer data is only accessed in anonymised form or under explicit authorisation.
